Basilica Genovese

Basil is thought to have originated in India and thrives best in warm, sunny locations outdoors or in pots. Genovese is the most popular basil with its large, convex leaves and strong, full-bodied flavour. Grows vigorously and thrives on being topped, as it branches out and yields even more. A classic to use in pasta dishes or make pesto. Sow at least 6 weeks before planting out after the last frost.
