Chili Ezpeleta

Ezpeleta is a moderately strong and tasty chili variety with great fruitiness. The plant grows about 60-80 cm tall and produces a good harvest of 11-13 cm long, conical fruits that turn glossy dark red when fully ripe. Introduced in the Basque Country of southern France by Gonzalo Percaztegi in 1523. One of the best varieties for chili powder.
