Summer Squash Yellow Straightneck

An easy-to-grow and high-yielding summer squash that produces straight lemon-yellow fruits with nutty, buttery-tasting flesh. It was probably bred in the eastern United States in the 1930s. The fruits can grow up to 25 cm long but taste best if harvested and cooked before they are full-sized.
