Cultivation pucks of compressed RHP-certified coconut fiber for rooting cuttings, growing tomatoes, chilies, etc.
Place your pucks on a watering tray, add lukewarm water and sow your seeds.
It couldn't be simpler.
How to use
- Place the pucks on a culture tray.
- Soak the pucks in lukewarm water.
- After about 10 minutes, they have expanded completely.
- Gently squeeze out any excess water.
- Sow the seeds or plant the cuttings and place in light.
- Avoid letting the pucks dry out, but do not overwater. You can also spray the seed to raise the humidity if you are growing in a mini greenhouse.
- It then takes about a week for the seeds to germinate.
- When it has started to germinate, it is important that air gets in if you are growing in a mini-greenhouse. Then keep the lid ajar.
- When the seeds have started to sprout and develop the first pair of true leaves (not the cotyledons) then it is time to remove the cover.
- Water carefully when needed - but do not overwater.
- Then plant the puck in a new, larger pot with soil. Be sure to protect the delicate roots by planting them down so that the soil covers the entire puck.
Good luck!
