Sugar Ann is an early low-growing snap pea that grows to about 50 cm tall. Snap pea means you wait until the pod is full of peas that are almost fully developed. You eat everything and there is hardly a juicier and sweeter vegetable. Sow in several batches to have access to nice pea pods all summer and autumn. Remember that the soil should be a little warmed up for the seed to germinate well. Earliest sowing is when you start thinking about taking out your shorts but don't have them on yet. Needs some support.
