Hops Lupulus

Start sowing hops by planting the seeds indoors in February-March or outdoors in April-May, max 0.5 cm deep. Prepare the seeds by moistening them, covering with transparent glass/plastic and storing in the refrigerator for a month. Then move to room temperature and keep moist. The plants germinate within 14-20 days at +18 to +20 °C. Plant them out 50-90 cm apart.

Hops thrive in bright, warm places with well-drained soil. Water and fertilize regularly, but avoid stagnant water. Flowering occurs from July to August, the following year. When the cones begin to emit a lovely aroma and the mountains brighten, it's time to harvest!
