This beautiful, cream-colored, small winter squash with green stripes is said to be one of the sweetest squash varieties available. It has an irresistibly sweet, nutty flavor and grows to about 15-20 cm long. It is very useful, can be roasted in the oven or used in soup. Developed by Dr. James Baggett at Oregon State University, it has been an extremely popular variety with squash growers since its introduction in 1990, as it is very productive, useful and can be stored for a long time. The green stripes fade as they ripen, making it easy to see when it is time to harvest.
